Technology integration and thriving in diverse environments are two of the many skills Hawkeye teachers bring to the classroom. As director of the UI Teacher Leader Center, a professional development hub and innovation lab for teacher education, Will Coghill-Behrends equips both undergraduates and experienced instructors to be better teachers, leaders, scholars and innovators in the 21^st century. Programs include the Iowa iPad Project, continuing education for Iowa’s teachers, and implicit bias coaching & LGBTQ safezone training for educators and administrators in the Iowa City Community School District.
