When it comes to brain disorders, the road to recovery starts with a map. Kumar Narayanan is working to map the circuitry of the brain to better understand Parkinson’s disease and find new treatments for this and other brain disorders. Specifically, he hopes his research will result in advancing adaptive brain stimulation techniques which will provide highly personalized, real-time brain stimulation for movement disorders such as Parkinson’s.
