Todd Pettys is writing a book on the Iowa Constitution, under contract with Oxford University Press. And at the request of the American Judges Association, he writes an annual summary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s most significant rulings in civil cases each term. In those summaries and his dozens of other writings, he has analyzed and commented on issues such as health care reform, gun rights and mental health, judicial retention elections, and more.
