Understanding and appreciating the religious beliefs and practices of others is a project that Kristy Nabhan-Warren embarks on each semester in her classroom and strives for in her scholarly work. Broadly her research looks at what American Catholics and Protestants share in common, and her current investigation is an ethnographic exploration of Midwestern Catholicism funded in part by The American Parish Project.
